This group of friends, honestly will do anything for one another and that is something that is absolutely true. Your friends, when you’re young, you spend more time with them than you do your own family. And you would do anything for that group of friends and I think that’s what it’s all about. And it also shows that teenagers don’t, they don’t think about you know, life and love and all that kind of thing in any less of a detailed or nuanced way as any adult does. I’m twenty one now and I don’t feel any different now than I did when I was seventeen, eighteen. I know I probably have changed in ways but I certainly don’t feel like I was less intelligent or thought about things any less. We’re not as naive, teenagers are not as naive as people often think.
